Retail Accountant

Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.

1. Perform finance functions for the company, ensuring performance follow-up for both office and store levels.
2. Provide full support to the finance team and collaborate with departments such as Retail, PR, VMD, MD, and HR.
3. Prepare retail daily sales reports vs budget and last year (local and HQ).
4. Manage wholesale reporting (weekly, monthly, YTD).
5. Control operating expenses and balance sheet management.
6. Manage capex and depreciation, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions.
7. Control invoice issuance process and manage monthly/year-end closing.
8. Coordinate external audits.
9. Conduct budget control and analysis.
10. Support store operations, including new openings and refurbishments.
11. Handle compliance and legal matters in collaboration with the legal team.
12. Ensure internal control and inventory management.

1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance position within an international environment

1. Proficiency in English (business level preferred)
2. Analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for figures
3. PC skills: Excel (Pivot), Word, PowerPoint
4. Familiarity with accounting systems such as JDE, HFM, Concur (preferable)

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance position within an international environment.
