Yves Saint Laurent Product Development Manager - Ready-to-Wear

- Oversee the development of ready-to-wear products from sketches to collections, ensuring seamless collaboration with associated departments.
- Coordinate with Studio/Atelier teams to manage stock levels, initiate trials, prototypes, press samples, and VIP prototypes.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Manage delivery schedules and oversee the reception process in alignment with collection timelines.
- Facilitate collection fittings from initial sketches to showroom presentations.
- Coordinate with the production department from initial fittings to final adjustments during the collection phase.
- Create and update collection materials, including technical sheets and collection plans, ensuring accurate information dissemination to relevant teams.
- Administer collection development processes, including coding, invoice tracking, and budget management.
- Provide detailed collection explanations during merchandising briefs.
- Advanced degree from a fashion or textile school.
- Proven experience in product development within the ready-to-wear sector, with a comprehensive understanding of collection lifecycle, studio operations, subcontractor management, and material components.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High adaptability and energy to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, with knowledge of PLM systems.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
A solid initial professional experience in product development for ready-to-wear fashion, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the collection development lifecycle.
Advanced degree in Fashion or Textile Design.
