Yves Saint Laurent Product Development Intern
Saint Laurent, a distinguished name in luxury fashion, was established in 1961 and pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with its 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, Saint Laurent continues to lead the luxury fashion world under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016. The brand's offerings encompass women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Assist in the monitoring of product launches, including the reception, inspection of samples, and management of measurement sheets.
- Manage, dispatch, and develop supplies.
- Create bill of materials sheets.
- Support special projects for VIPs and press.
- Participate in sourcing and tracking material orders, including attending trade shows and supplier meetings, and updating material books.
- Facilitate communication between the studio, factories, production, and merchandising teams.
- Update various communication and collection tracking tools (PLM).
- Provide administrative and logistical support, including supplier follow-ups and invoicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- A strong product sensitivity and technical knowledge are essential.
- Previous experience in the luxury or fashion sector is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, dynamism, and availability.
