Yves Saint Laurent Product Development Intern
Saint Laurent, a prestigious fashion house established in 1961, pioneered the luxury ready-to-wear movement with its iconic 'Rive Gauche' line. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, Saint Laurent continues to lead the fashion industry under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016. The brand's offerings span women's and men's ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Assist in monitoring product launches, including sample reception, quality control, and measurement sheet management.
- Manage the development and dispatch of supplies.
- Develop and maintain bill of materials documentation.
- Support special projects, VIP, and press initiatives.
- Participate in sourcing and order tracking of materials, including attending trade shows and supplier meetings.
- Facilitate communication between the studio, factories, production, and merchandising teams.
- Update communication and collection tracking tools (PLM).
- Provide administrative and logistical support, including supplier follow-ups and invoicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Product sensitivity and technical knowledge are essential.
- Previous experience in the luxury or fashion sector is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and a dynamic, available demeanor.
