Yves Saint Laurent Merchandising Assistant

- Support the Men's, BU (accessories), and Lifestyle departments in strategic initiatives to drive business growth in China.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of products, customers, and market trends within the Men's, BU, and Lifestyle sectors.
- Identify market needs and opportunities, supporting product debriefs to the central team, including price positioning and competitor analysis.
- Assist in seasonal buying processes, including pre-buying reports, showroom merchandise selection, and assortment planning.
- Compose routine and ad hoc reports, monitoring performance at SKU/store level as needed.
- Analyze sales performance and implement action plans to maximize sales and optimize sell-through.
- Ensure appropriate stock replenishment and rebalance stock based on sales data, in collaboration with the planning team.
- Communicate regularly with the retail team through newsletters, store visits, and category meetings.
- Support client engagement events, including product coordination and pre-order follow-ups.
- Deliver product training, including seasonal launches and ad hoc activation projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Customer Service.
- Engage in international travel to Paris and local travel within Greater China.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the luxury fashion industry.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Passion for the luxury fashion industry and an appreciation for luxury products.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as stock-to-sales, sell-through, and inventory turnover.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight schedules.
A minimum of 2 years in the luxury fashion industry is required.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
