Yves Saint Laurent Materials Research Intern - Footwear
Yves Saint Laurent, established in 1961, pioneered the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter with the launch of the 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, the brand remains at the forefront of the luxury fashion industry under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016. Saint Laurent's collections encompass women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Assist the Research and Development Office in the various phases of raw material research and development for footwear, from design handover to sample launch.
- Support the team in the preparation of technical sheets and material charts.
- Aid in the system coding (Stealth and PLM) of materials, models, and aspects for each prototype and sample collection item.
- Assist in verifying the bill of materials for samples before production.
- Help catalog photographs of prototypes and samples to ensure product compliance.
- Support data and prototype archiving activities.
- Assist in researching leathers and colors for product component matching such as threads, zippers, and edges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, precision, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a predisposition for teamwork.

No specific experience required, but familiarity with fashion or materials research is advantageous.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Design, or a related field.
