Yves Saint Laurent Junior Denim Designer
Saint Laurent, a distinguished name in the luxury fashion industry, was founded in 1961 and pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with its iconic 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966. Now under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello and part of the prestigious Kering Group since 1999, Saint Laurent continues to redefine luxury fashion with its innovative collections, including women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Create sketches and drawings for various collections in alignment with the Artistic Director's vision.
- Conduct thematic research for current and upcoming collections, including iconographic, color, material, treatment, and vintage research.
- Develop corresponding mock-ups.
- Create technical drawings using Illustrator and prepare launch files.
- Prepare for fittings and artistic direction.
- Assist in product development follow-up, including project launches.
- Participate in the preparation of fashion shows and showrooms.
- Assist in styling sessions and look preparations.
- Contribute to all tasks within the Denim studio.
- Higher education in Fashion Design or related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a ready-to-wear studio.
- Strong product sensitivity and technical knowledge, particularly in Denim, including pattern making, treatment, and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong artistic proposal skills in drawing and research.
- Ability to capture trends with sophistication and modernity.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a rigorous and organized work ethic.
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a ready-to-wear studio, with a focus on Denim preferred.
Higher education in Fashion Design or related field.
