Yves Saint Laurent Financial Analyst

- Support Saint Laurent Americas, including USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Panama.
- Engage actively in forecasting and budgeting processes, covering sales, operational expenses, and wholesale capital expenditures.
- Prepare daily splits for both wholesale and retail channels and present findings to the worldwide executive team.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team during monthly and year-end closings, including uploads to the financial consolidation tool.
- Analyze financial results and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial reporting for both regional and headquarters, including P&L analysis and management expense reports.
- Prepare and report daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date sales across retail channels as a backup resource.
- Support the Senior Financial Analyst in compiling financial results for department heads.
- Collaborate in the preparation of the Monthly Business Review Presentation for the worldwide executive team.
- Support management on ad hoc analyses and special projects.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA is a plus.
- Over 2 years of experience in a similar role; retail experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in technical skills such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate data, preparing concise written reports and presentations.
- Capability to multitask while adhering to critical deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and international counterparts.
- Highest regard for confidentiality, especially with sensitive company information.
- Positive work attitude, including willingness to work longer hours during peak periods.
- System savvy and self-motivated to learn new technology and participate in new projects; SAP experience is a plus.
A minimum of 2 years in a similar financial analyst role, preferably within the retail sector.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA is a plus.
