Yves Saint Laurent Fashion Design Intern
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first fashion house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with the launch of the 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. Today, the brand's collections encompass women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Update collection documents including sketches, material books, and technical drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of fittings.
- Support product development follow-up.
- Create technical drawings using Illustrator.
- Develop mock-ups.
- Assist in thematic research for seasonal prints and embroidery, including illustration and graphic design.
- Contribute to thematic research for the collection, utilizing documentation, books, web resources, and studio materials.
- Aid in the preparation of the showroom and collection displays.
- Background in Fashion Design with a specialization in Women's Fashion.
- Strong product sensitivity and technical knowledge of women's garments.
- Stylistic inspirations aligned with the Saint Laurent universe.
- Solid understanding of pattern making, garment construction, draping, sewing, and 3D technical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Fluency in English and basic knowledge of French.
- Versatile, organized, and responsive.
International profiles are highly valued, and previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Enrollment in a Fashion Design program with a specialization in Women's Fashion is required. A formal internship agreement from the educational institution is mandatory.
