- Collaborate with design teams to understand fabric needs for upcoming collections.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage fabric treatments such as washing and dyeing, ensuring alignment with design and performance goals.
- Oversee sampling and prototyping to ensure accurate representation of final products.
- Maintain strong communication between Fabric Development, Fabric Buying, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Organize and track fabric testing with the Quality team to ensure compliance with standards.
- Manage dyeing processes, prepare production files, and monitor progress.
- Track and document fabric-specific details, including fragilities, modifications, and in-house treatments, and share insights with relevant teams.
- Lead material industrialization, including pilot launches and preparation of approval files for the Studio.
- Monitor fabric inventory and usage, coordinating with production and purchasing to optimize stock levels.
- Maintain up-to-date records on fabric specifications, sourcing, pricing, and availability, and act as the main contact for color and material-related queries.
- Background in textile or fashion production, with 3–5 years of experience in fabric development or sourcing.
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, dyeing, washing, and testing processes.
- Skilled in project coordination, from sampling to industrialization and supplier follow-up.
- Proficient in data tracking and documentation, including fabric specifications, inventory, and pricing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across design, production, and quality teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3–5 years of experience in fabric development or sourcing within the textile or fashion production industry.
