Yves Saint Laurent Department Manager

- Collaborate with the Assistant Store Director and Store Director to align on corporate initiatives, team development, employee relations, product training, and operations.
- Oversee the sales floor with a consistent presence to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Manage opening and closing procedures of the boutique in adherence to operational and loss prevention guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategic action plans to maximize department sales and client engagement, aligning with the boutique’s overall performance goals.
- Drive department sales goals and team performance through coaching and adherence to company standards.
- Analyze sales reports regularly to ensure the department meets and exceeds quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Stay informed on product-related information and ensure the team is updated on stock availability and technical changes.
- Communicate business trends, client requests, and product feedback to the Buying team.
- Manage and support escalated client issues in partnership with the Store Director, Client Services, and Operations team.
- Ensure department visual standards comply with Visual Merchandising and Loss Prevention guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Operational team on inventory management to maintain low shrink levels.
- Uphold operational guidelines to ensure compliance and successful store audits.
- Foster strong working relationships with the management team, corporate partners, and other boutiques.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more individuals
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to motivate and lead sales teams
- Strong analytical skills for sales report analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A minimum of 3-5 years in retail, with at least 2 years in a management capacity, managing teams of 5 or more.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Base compensation range is $95,000 - $100,000, plus bonus eligibility.
