Yves Saint Laurent Collection Coordinator
Saint Laurent, a prestigious name in the fashion industry, was founded in 1961 and became a trailblazer by introducing luxury ready-to-wear with its 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966. - Centralize, manage, and disseminate information across departments such as atelier, technical office, studio, development, and external manufacturers.
- Ensure clear and regular communication among stakeholders throughout the collection development process.
- Update shared working documents including delivery schedules, model tracking, sample follow-ups, collection plans, and order management tools.
- Ensure adherence to development and production timelines by organizing relevant meetings for sketch submissions, fabric and component developments, and fittings.
- Coordinate sampling, fittings, and alterations, ensuring seamless interaction between teams, and manage packaging and storage of pieces.
- Administer collection entry in PLM, ensuring data accuracy regarding launch dates, fabric delivery, and pricing consistency.
- Oversee the supply chain process, ensuring material availability and coordinating prototype integration into the collection.
- Organize pre-show activities such as ordering racks, hangers, managing transportation, and overseeing alterations and model deposits.
- Post-show, restore the collection, prepare and track pieces for showroom sessions, and coordinate collection handovers with merchandising teams.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to archive show models at the end of each season.
- Occasionally support VIP projects and special orders.
- Academic background or relevant professional experience in Fashion, Textiles, or Merchandising.
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and collection development within the luxury fashion sector.
- Advanced team and project coordination skills with strong organizational, precision, and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse profiles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PLM knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Experience in fashion, textiles, or merchandising with a focus on luxury fashion collection development.
Relevant academic background in Fashion, Textiles, or Merchandising.
