Yves Saint Laurent Buyer - Women's Ready-to-Wear
Saint Laurent, a prestigious brand under the Kering Group, was founded in 1961 and is renowned for pioneering luxury ready-to-wear with its iconic 'Rive Gauche' line. - Develop and curate the product assortment for European boutiques during seasonal buying sessions, conducted four times annually.
- Define and optimize product offerings per store and market to maximize revenue while ensuring sell-through objectives are met.
- Construct and implement purchasing support tools and input orders during showroom sessions.
- Prepare training tools for sales teams on strategic initiatives and key seasonal launches.
- Monitor and analyze performance through weekly and monthly reports.
- Manage stock transfers, replenishments, and VIP requests to optimize seasonal outcomes.
- Conduct fashion trend analysis to anticipate customer expectations and guide assortment decisions.
- Contribute to Saint Laurent's growth through boutique expansion projects and customer activation.
- Collaborate with boutiques and departments such as Visual Merchandising, CRM, and Training.
- Create operational support materials and communication for the network.
- Analyze market feedback to adjust assortments and escalate alerts.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to secure and enhance product priorities.
- Significant experience in Buying, Retail Merchandising, or a similar role, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Strong sensitivity to women's ready-to-wear fashion and products.
- Good knowledge of European markets and market trends.
- Excellent analytical skills and numerical proficiency.
- Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, and a proactive attitude.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Fashion expertise with the ability to inspire and challenge teams.
- Strategic and creative vision.
- Analytical proficiency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Significant experience in Buying, Retail Merchandising, or a similar role, ideally within the luxury sector.
