- Inspire enthusiasm for Leather Goods among internal teams and clients.
- Act as a liaison between regional and global partners in Paris.
- Assist in the development and execution of seasonal buying strategies for Leather Goods.
- Collaborate with the buyer to analyze sales and devise strategies to expand the category.
- Optimize stock levels to ensure availability and efficiency.
- Monitor core replenishment stock and sales performance.
- Evaluate business performance by store and SKU, implementing initiatives to capitalize on local opportunities.
- Prepare weekly, seasonal, and ad hoc business reports.
- Collaborate with the global team on product feedback, strategic pricing, and market needs.
- Conduct in-store training sessions.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of product, design, and industry trends to inform business decisions.
- Foster strong relationships with store leaders.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Public Relations, Supply Chain, and Client Services.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3-4 years of buying experience in luxury retail, with a preference for experience in Leather Goods
- Passion for the brand and luxury products
- Strong aesthetic sense and appreciation for luxury goods
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong business acumen
- Proficiency in retail math, including stock to sales, sell-through, and inventory turn
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel internationally to Paris and locally to US stores
A minimum of 3-4 years in buying within the luxury retail sector, with a preference for experience in Leather Goods.
Bachelor’s Degree
A competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, with eligibility for bonuses.
