Yves Saint Laurent Assistant Product Manager Intern - Men's Ready-to-Wear
Saint Laurent, a storied name in luxury fashion, was established in 1961 and pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with its iconic 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966. This innovation marked a pivotal moment in fashion history, modernizing the industry and reshaping cultural norms. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, Saint Laurent continues to thrive under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016, offering a comprehensive range of products including men's and women's ready-to-wear, footwear, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Monitor product development in collaboration with various departments including Studio, pattern makers, workshops, and external manufacturers.
- Update the PLM tool daily with launch/reception dates, fabric stock, and sample/bill of materials creation.
- Oversee the organizational process from prototyping to sampling.
- Track delivery of pieces and manage prototypes and collection repetitions.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for follow-ups.
- Assist in fitting preparations.
- Create reference labels for models.
- Receive and inspect pieces.
- Manage special orders for Press, VIP, VIC, and trunk shows.
- Previous experience in luxury or fashion industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Strong command of Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with PLM software is beneficial.
