Yves Saint Laurent Assistant Buyer and Component Development Intern
Saint Laurent, a revered name in the luxury fashion industry, was established in 1961 and pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with its iconic 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, Saint Laurent continues to thrive under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016, offering a diverse range of collections including women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Quality control, stock management, and administrative handling of orders.
- Monitoring delivery schedules.
- Conducting follow-up calls with suppliers.
- Assisting in the research and development of components.
- Creating project codes.
- Preparing component boards for validation by the Artistic Director.
- Updating and exporting the weekly collection plan.
- Background in business school, fashion school (such as IFM or ESIV), or textile engineering (ENSAIT).
- Previous experience in luxury fashion and product sensitivity is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; Italian language skills are advantageous.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, flexibility, and dynamism.
A first experience in the luxury sector is advantageous.
Business, Fashion, or Textile Engineering degree preferred.
