Watchfinder & Co. Global Stock Control Lead

- Monitor international goods movement and ensure alignment of stock control processes across the community.
- Prepare and present monthly and annual global stock discrepancy reports for CFO review.
- Support Finance teams in submitting insurance claims post-investigation.
- Plan and analyze global stock takes for half-year and year-end, ensuring thorough investigations are conducted as necessary.
- Reconcile back office and SAP stock during half-year and year-end periods.
- Regularly review anomalies and escalate issues to operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in inventory management.
- Collaborate with the Internal Controls Manager to develop and implement inventory management frameworks.
- Prepare ad-hoc, monthly, and quarterly reviews of logistics hubs and boutiques.
- Deliver training on inventory control processes to logistics hubs and boutiques.
- Resolve issues with problematic watches, coordinating closely with the accounting team.
- Liaise with international servicing teams to address problematic watches.
- Provide status updates on global stock positions, including commentary and progress updates.
- Coordinate the return of watches to owning entities after the designated period.
- Ensure international stores send watches for service/repair back to HQ within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with logistics hubs for the prompt return of serviced/repaired watches to international markets.
- Coordinate with UK stores for dispatch of watches sold to international stores within agreed SLAs.
- Previous experience in logistics or stock control is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and proactive workstream management.
- Strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly and methodically interpret large data sets.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on one's feet and devise solutions.
Candidates must have prior experience in logistics or stock control, demonstrating a strong ability to manage complex inventory systems and processes.
