1. Conduct incoming, in‑process and final inspections to verify conformity with technical drawings, specifications and finishing standards specific to high jewellery and watch components.
2. Execute dimensional and visual checks using precision metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and record results in quality documentation and systems.
3. Detect, document and classify non‑conformities; initiate containment, corrective actions and follow through until closure, applying root‑cause analysis and 8D methodology where appropriate.
4. Collaborate with production ateliers, stone‑setting and finishing teams to translate quality findings into actionable process improvements and preventive measures.
5. Manage calibration and maintenance schedules for inspection equipment; ensure traceability of measuring instruments and compliance with metrology protocols.
6. Support supplier quality activities including incoming supplier audits, sampling plans and approval of incoming batches to secure material and component quality.
7. Contribute to internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Maison's quality management system and luxury product standards.

1. Proven competency in precision inspection techniques and metrology for fine jewellery or watch components.
2. Solid knowledge of quality methodologies such as root‑cause analysis and structured problem solving (e.g., 8D).
3. Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices; experience maintaining inspection records and non‑conformance reports.
4. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and aesthetic sensitivity required for haute joaillerie inspection.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with artisans, workshop leads and external suppliers.

Diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, metrology, industrial quality or equivalent vocational qualification; specific metrology or quality certifications are advantageous.
