- Assist experienced silversmiths in smithing tasks to develop foundational skills for interpreting blueprints and fabricating retail items.
- Learn and apply various silversmithing techniques, including the use of multiple torch sizes and types for soldering and annealing.
- Master the correct application of silver solder and the use of tools for solder cleanup and over-run prevention.
- Perform complex cleanup and fitting of components, understanding annealing temperatures for various metals.
- Hand hallmark a variety of items and minimize porosity in solder seams using appropriate tools.
- Gain exposure to planishing, forming, and raising techniques.
- Learn off-bench techniques such as hand forging and the use of power equipment.
- Organize work instructions, capture in-process images, and follow SOPs for product development.
- Verify and record production time, manage work-in-progress updates, and handle precious metal scrap responsibly.
- Proficiency in English communication.

- High school diploma or GED.
