- Conduct inspections on serviced new and client-owned merchandise using established standards.
- Document and communicate inspection results to the Repair Services team and Operations staff.
- Manage the workflow of orders through the department, prioritizing client due dates and inspection needs.
- Maintain systematic records and reports to capture inspection results and trends.
- Collaborate with technicians and management to improve servicing quality.
- Participate in training of new team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of jewelry experience.
- Completion of Graduate Gemology degree or GIA courses.
- Previous Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience using a microscope.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Flexible work schedule, including potential overtime and weekends.
- Strong English language verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to work using a microscope for extended periods.
- Ability to identify and resolve areas of improvement.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in jewelry quality assurance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of Graduate Gemology degree or GIA courses preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $25 - $34 per hour, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
