Tiffany & Co. Product Technician Intern

- Provide technical and administrative support for the Jewelry Design and Innovation Workshop (JDIW) in all phases of new product development.
- Assist in the facilitation of in-house prototyping, including developing work instructions, ordering castings, generating work orders, and organizing inventory.
- Support product evaluations through measurements and imaging for supplier documentation.
- Accurately measure, collect, analyze, and present data to support design and prototype fabrication.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of project timelines, CAD models, technical drawings, and estimated costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop concept designs into manufacturable products.
- Conduct dimensional, functional, and quality evaluations of sample products from concept prototypes through pilot production.
- Draft and refine Bills of Material (BOM), manufacturing routes, work instructions, and cost models.
- Document management experience
- Effective communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Understanding of technical manufacturing documentation
- Working knowledge of CAD
- Experience with rapid prototyping
- Statistical analysis skills
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with SolidWorks and Rhino
Beginner level experience in a technical or engineering role, preferably within product development or manufacturing.
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
$25 per hour
