- Respond promptly to facilities service requests, ensuring timely setup and maintenance of audiovisual and furniture for meetings.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of building and grounds, including daily inventory management of copy paper and supplies.
- Assist in the repair and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and material handling equipment.
- Utilize the Building Management System (BMS) to address user requests and implement corrective actions.
- Test and inspect emergency and life safety systems to comply with NFPA, OSHA, and agency standards.
- Align facilities activities with corporate sustainability programs and report safety issues to supervisors.
- Maintain parts inventory, order necessary materials, and provide daily reports on work status and resource usage.
- High school diploma with technical or vocational training in related fields.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, across all employee levels.
- Self-motivated, customer service-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of PLCs for troubleshooting and experience with electronic testing equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and maintenance manuals.
- Leadership skills to foster a team atmosphere.
- Experience with lifts such as Skyjack, forklifts, and hand pallet trucks.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is required.
High school diploma with technical or vocational training.
The hourly rate ranges from $26.18 to $35.42, depending on skills and experience.
