Tiffany & Co. Integrations Intern

- Assist in connecting various software systems, applications, and APIs to enable seamless and secure data exchange across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and troubleshooting of integration workflows using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, as well as integration tools and platforms.
- Participate in thorough testing of integrations to ensure their reliability, security, and adherence to performance goals and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate data transfers, transformations, and validation processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, including technical specifications, data mappings, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate effectively with software engineers, data analysts, and other team members to define integration requirements, address technical challenges, and optimize integration solutions.
- Monitor integration performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, scalability, and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Solid knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and Python, with a strong understanding of programming fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of API concepts (RESTful, SOAP) and experience working with APIs to retrieve and exchange data.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica is a plus.
- Experience with tools like Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Understanding of how to use Teams/Remote Meeting Platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Beginner level experience in software integration or related fields.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
$25 per hour.
