Tiffany & Co. Financial Accountant

- Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Italian GAAP and IFRS.
- Participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all closing activities.
- Prepare and post accruals for various expenses, ensuring proper recognition of revenues and expenses in the correct accounting period.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of transactions between group entities.
- Prepare and submit statutory financial reports to comply with Italian legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in Italian accounting principles, IFRS, and other relevant regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Finance Director.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, minimum 5 years.
- Thorough knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and IFRS.
- Strong understanding of group accounting logics and consolidation principles.
- Experience with accrual accounting methods and month-end closing procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting systems, with JDE as ERP being a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial accounting.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Full-time opportunity with one smart working day per week.
