- Collaborate with project managers to prepare early-stage project estimates for investment expenditure requests.
- Maintain and update the cost database to identify cost deviations from approved budgets.
- Conduct regular budget analyses throughout the project lifecycle to provide accurate financial reports.
- Manage cost control aspects for construction projects and provide KPI analysis reports.
- Review and enforce financial clauses in contractor and consultant contracts.
- Coordinate with finance teams to provide updates on cash flow estimates and supplier payments.
- Lead the reconciliation process for tenant and department store allocations.
- Train and oversee external quantity surveyors to ensure compliance with internal methodologies.
- Participate in risk assessment processes for procurement activities within store development.
- Ensure compliance with invoice monitoring procedures and assist local accounting teams.
- Coordinate monthly updates on project costs and areas for Store Planning reports.
- Support maintenance budget consolidation and provide cost benchmarking assistance.
- Monitor team travel expenses budget.
- Degree in Construction Management and Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects.
- Experience in the retail sector.
- Advanced knowledge of project life cycles and construction costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of Esker, Unifier, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD for plan consultation and measurement verification.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Financial reporting agility with mastery of reporting tools and techniques.
- Effective project management and deadline compliance.
- Collaboration and budgetary coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in accounting and financial management software.
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects, with a focus on cost control and financial management within the retail sector.
Degree in Construction Management and Accounting.
