Thelios Supplier Quality Control Manager

1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20 quality control inspectors and technicians.
2. Set team goals and objectives in alignment with overall quality and business objectives.
3. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
4. Ensure adequate staffing levels and resource allocation to meet quality control demands.
5. Develop and implement supplier quality control procedures and standards.
6. Conduct supplier audits to assess quality management systems and compliance with Thélios' standards.
7. Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
8. Manage supplier relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues.
9. Oversee the inspection and testing of incoming materials and components.
10. Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of effective solutions.
11. Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
12. Continuously improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
13. Prepare and present regular reports on supplier quality performance to the Quality Manager and Direction.
14. Communicate quality-related information to internal stakeholders, including sourcing, production, and engineering teams.
15. Escalate critical quality issues to management as needed.
16. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
17. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on supplier quality management.
3. Proven experience managing and leading a team.
4. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
5. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
6. Experience in the automotive or white goods (major appliance) industries is highly desirable.
