Thelios NPI Tech Development & Procurement Specialist

- Coordinate procurement activities for new projects from concept phase to mass production.
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to define specifications for components and materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers in line with technical, quality, and cost requirements.
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis for new components and materials.
- Participate in defining target prices and managing the purchasing budget for NPI projects.
- Negotiate final prices with suppliers, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and target costs.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitoring performance in terms of quality, delivery times, and costs.
- Acquire and apply knowledge of production and technological processes to support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Contribute to optimizing procurement processes by proposing improvements and best practices.
- Act as a key interface between the Procurement team and other departments involved in product development.
- Provide regular updates on project status and purchasing decisions to internal teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in industrial contexts or supply chain/procurement roles is a plus.
- Excellent data analysis, costing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal relationship management skills.
- Interest and aptitude for learning production processes and technologies.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Italian and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Beginner level experience, including internships or thesis work, in industrial contexts or supply chain/procurement roles is advantageous.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
