1. Deliver exceptional service and support, guiding clients in selecting frames that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic.
2. Interpret optical prescriptions, take precise measurements (PD, segment height, etc.), and advise on lens options and materials.
3. Prepare and process accurate optical work orders; ensure proper fit, adjustments, and minor repairs.
4. Maintain organized inventory and a clean, brand-aligned retail environment.
5. Stay current on product knowledge, lens technologies, and eyewear trends.
6. Support store goals through teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to the Barton Perreira experience.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Licensed Optician or certified as required by state law.
2. 2+ years of experience in an optical or eyewear retail setting, preferably luxury or high-end.

1. Strong understanding of lenses, frame styles, materials, and optical measurements.
2. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
3. Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management abilities.
4. Confident in troubleshooting eyewear issues and performing precise fittings.
5. Comfortable with POS systems and basic optical software.
6. Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
7. Self-starter with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for eyewear and quality design.
8. Advocate of diversity and inclusion in business decisions.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an optical or eyewear retail setting, preferably within the luxury segment.
