Thelios HSE Specialist

- Ensure the identification, assessment, and elimination of health and safety risks in the workplace in compliance with current regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and updating of safety procedures and operational practices.
- Conduct analysis of incidents and violations, investigating causes and developing corrective and preventive measures.
- Deliver information and training programs for all employees as mandated by current safety and injury prevention regulations.
- Ensure personnel awareness and adherence to safety provisions and practices.
- Monitor compliance with safety rules within the facility.
- Perform activities under D. Lgs. 231/2001 (Organizational, Management and Control Model) related to Safety and conduct audits.
- Promote a 'safety culture' among employees and collaborate with the Prevention and Protection Service in developing and implementing specific activities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the internal Nursing Service and the competent Physician.
- Maintain relationships with external and internal supervisory/inspection bodies.
- Contribute to the management of internal HSE schedules.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in companies with environmental authorizations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and main management systems.
- Familiarity with relevant ISO management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001).
- Environmental management knowledge (waste management, environmental permits).
- Team spirit and goal-oriented mindset.
- Proactivity and positive attitude.
- Precision, organizational skills, analytical and planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical orientation.
- Aptitude for managing/guiding small teams.
- Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.
- Established management of suppliers and consultants in the environment and safety field.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Minimum of 5 years in similar roles, preferably within companies requiring environmental authorizations.
Technical diploma and/or degree in Environmental Health and Safety Techniques, Engineering, or related fields.
