- Oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, adhering to GAAP principles.
- Manage Group Monthly Closing Reporting in IFRS and oversee the reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Direct company cash management, including forecasting, bank reconciliations, and payment preparation.
- Collaborate with senior management to enhance financial procedures and participate in setting financial standards and forecasts.
- Conduct monthly analyses of balance sheets, income statements, and budget variances.
- Analyze financial data to identify errors and propose efficiency improvements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying and reconciling transactions.
- Manage general ledger activities, including trial balance preparation and entry reconciliation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with tax audits and returns.
- Support quarterly and annual regulatory filings and statutory statement preparation.
- Contribute to special projects within the department and organization.
- Utilize SAP for financial management tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and management.
- In-depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Ability to analyze financial records and communicate insights to other departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software, SAP knowledge required.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and management is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA certification preferred.
