1. Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications using JDK 11+ and modern software engineering principles.
2. Architect, build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for high-performance backend systems.
3. Develop cloud-ready services and integrations leveraging AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and infrastructure-as-code where applicable.
4. Write efficient, production-grade SQL and perform performance tuning on relational databases.
5. Automate operational tasks and deployments with bash scripting and participate in CI/CD workflows.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional product, QA and operations teams to deliver features end-to-end from design to production.
7. Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues across development and production environments; participate in incident response and remediation.
8. Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate engineering standards.

1. 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Java development with JDK 11 or later.
2. Proven experience building RESTful APIs and microservices in a production environment.
3. Demonstrated experience developing cloud applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
4. Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization and database performance tuning.
5. Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
6. Practical experience writing automation scripts using bash.
7. Solid grounding in software engineering principles, design patterns and system design.
