Responsibilities
- Conduct US and China HS code classification based on PLM product information.
- Issue customs commodity descriptions based on customs elements.
- Manage classification via Integration Point and subsystems for daily operations.
- Explain HS classification principles to external partners and internal teams.
- Implement team policy requirements, processes, and guidelines.
- Facilitate customs compliance for import and export activities.
- Question existing procedures and provide solutions for improvement.
- Track and review regulatory documents and relevant regulations issued by Chinese customs.
- Oversee free trade agreement operations to ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist in setting up Duty Saving KPIs and manage supplier performance feedback.
