Tapestry Global Trade & Customs Analyst

- Conduct US and China HS code classification based on PLM product information and issue Customs commodity descriptions.
- Manage classification via Integration Point and subsystems for daily classification operations.
- Explain HS classification principles and implications to external service providers, brokers, internal GTC team members, and global counterparts.
- Implement team policy requirements, processes, and guidelines to facilitate customs compliance for import and export activities.
- Question existing procedures and propose improvements in trade compliance processes.
- Stay updated on customs regulations and support reviews of regulatory documents, focusing on Customs valuation, FTA, bonded operations, and classification.
- Oversee and monitor free trade agreement operations to ensure accurate certification and documentation for import clearance.
- Assist in setting up Duty Saving KPIs and manage supplier performance based on KPI results.
- Proficiency in customs regulations and real-time tracking of regulatory changes.
- Ability to manage classification operations via Integration Point and subsystems.
- Experience in explaining HS classification principles to various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Relevant experience in customs and trade compliance, particularly in managing HS code classification and trade operations.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
