Tapestry Costing Analyst

- Collect and analyze global costing data to support cost standardization, validation, and optimization.
- Assess finished goods costing across seasonal milestones and ensure compliance with Tapestry's standard costs.
- Conduct cost variance and sensitivity analyses to identify drivers and propose optimization actions.
- Maintain costing databases and models for consistency and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with service providers to gather cost breakdowns and resolve discrepancies.
- Validate yield and tooling assumptions with relevant teams.
- Support should-cost analysis and challenge quotes using data-driven benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with Tapestry's costing guidelines among service providers.
- Present costing insights to internal partners and support margin analysis through scenario modeling.
- Communicate costing risks and recommendations proactively.
- Ensure all costing submissions meet seasonal calendar deadlines and track updates and approvals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance costing accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in footwear product costing.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data.
- Solid understanding of product construction, materials, manufacturing processes, and cost structures.
- Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and modeling.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in footwear product costing is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
