Swiss Timing Senior Software Developer

- Design, develop, maintain, and document next-generation software solutions for major sporting events such as the Olympic Games and World Cups.
- Ensure the highest quality and reliability of produced software.
- Manage high-level specifications and best practices for the development team.
- Mentor and coach developers, enhancing their skills and acting as a technical leader.
- Lead initiatives to ensure engineering maturity and quality control.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, fostering an environment for innovation and experimentation.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
- Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Resilient and able to operate in dynamic and stressful environments.
- Structured, systematic, and organized with strong prioritization skills.
- Optimistic, motivating, and visionary with availability for international travel.
- Proven experience in developing web applications with .NET/C# backend deployed in Docker or AKS.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with automated testing and deployments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles including XP, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Strong communication skills in English.
A minimum of 5 years as a professional software developer with a focus on backend development using .NET/C# and experience in Docker or AKS deployments.
Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
