- Perform full service on watch movements, including dismantling, repairing, cleaning, reassembling, and adjusting for optimal performance.
- Execute technical repairs and services on Omega brand watches in accordance with established guidelines.
- Analyze and determine appropriate methodologies for movement repairs.
- Develop or utilize suitable tools and processes to address issues encountered during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations, including equipment maintenance and consumable ordering.
- Ensure all customer service requirements are met, delivering watches ready for wear.
- Completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results for complete repairs.
- Specialist knowledge of complicated movements or completion of a post-apprenticeship course such as WOSTEP for specialist repairs.
- Proficiency in servicing mechanical, quartz, and chronograph movements.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Commitment to excellence and customer service.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
Experience in watch repair, particularly with Omega brand watches, is essential. Expertise in handling various types of movements, including mechanical, quartz, and chronographs, is required.
Completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000.
