- Assemble all case components and ensure the waterproof integrity of the watch case.
- Perform comprehensive servicing of watch movements, including dismantling, repairing, cleaning, reassembling, and adjusting for accuracy.
- Execute technical repairs and services across multiple brands in accordance with established brand guidelines.
- Analyze and determine appropriate methodologies for movement repairs.
- Utilize or develop suitable tools and processes to address issues encountered during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations, including equipment maintenance and ordering consumables.
- Ensure all customer-required services are completed, rendering the watch ready for wear.
- Completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results for complete repairs.
- Specialist knowledge of complicated movements or completion of a post-apprenticeship course such as WOSTEP for specialist repairs.
- Proficiency in servicing basic mechanical, quartz movements, and chronographs.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence and customer service focus.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy environment.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Experience in watch repair, with the ability to service all types of watches from basic mechanical to complex chronographs.
Watchmaking apprenticeship or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair TAFE course for partial repairs.
