Swatch Group Watch Diagnostics Technician

Swatch Group is a diversified multinational holding company active in the manufacture and sale of finished watches, jewelry, watch movements, and components. 1. Perform diagnostics including analysis of external impacts to support warranty/invoice decisions.
2. Define type of service required and identify spare parts.
3. Conduct water resistance, mechanical, and quartz testing.
4. Provide information relevant to the repair process and general condition reports.
5. Perform quality control checks and address failures.
6. Support reception by providing quotes and quick services while customers wait.
7. Assist with customer pick-ups, including winding and setting time.
8. Ensure visual and assembly quality of watches.
9. Operate moving components to check operation, security, and friction/tightness.
10. Set watches to time and check actual time variance against reference clocks.

1. Satisfactory results of a watchmaking apprenticeship course or minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience would be beneficial but not mandatory.

1. Dexterity to safely open and close case backs.
2. High attention to detail.
3. Good communication skills within a team environment.
4. Experience within a service industry preferable.
5. Computer skills.
6. Passion for watches.

Experience within a service industry is preferable. Satisfactory results of a watchmaking apprenticeship course or a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Training provided to candidates with no experience in basic watch repairs and diagnostics.
