1. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial transaction processing.
2. Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies.
3. Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with Dutch GAAP.
4. Handle corporate tax, VAT, and payroll tax filings.
5. Prepare periodic payment batches for executive authorization.
6. Administer the capital expenditure portfolio.
7. Serve as the primary contact for compliance matters, including audits and tax filings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
3. Experience in a retail organization is preferred.
4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a holistic view.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
7. Proactive and self-motivated.
8. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
9. Fluency in Dutch and good command of English, both written and spoken.

Demonstrable experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the retail sector.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
