The Swatch Group, a global leader in the watchmaking industry, operates as the sales organization for prestigious Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain within the Netherlands. With its headquarters in Eindhoven, the company supplies independent jewelers and large retail chains, while also expanding its own retail presence through Swatch Stores, Shop-in-Shop corners, and boutiques across the country.

1. Manage financial transactions within the general ledger
2. Maintain and oversee the general ledger
3. Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies
4. Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (Dutch GAAP)
5. Handle tax filings including corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes
6. Prepare periodic payment batches for executive authorization
7. Manage and administer the capital expenditure portfolio
8. Serve as the primary contact for compliance matters, audits, tax filings, and external advisors

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
2. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant
3. Experience in a retail organization is preferred
4. Strong attention to detail while maintaining an overview of the broader financial picture
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
7. Proactive and self-motivated
8. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365 with advanced Excel skills
9. Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably within a retail organization.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
