Swatch Group Senior Accountant

The Swatch Group Netherlands is part of the global Swatch Group and serves as the sales organization for renowned Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain within the Netherlands. Based in Eindhoven, the company supplies independent jewelers and large retail chains, and operates its own sales points including Swatch Stores and Shop-in-Shop corners.

1. Process financial transactions in the general ledger
2. Manage and maintain the general ledger
3. Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies
4. Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (Dutch GAAP)
5. Handle tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes)
6. Prepare periodic payment batches for authorization by management
7. Manage and administer the capex portfolio
8. Act as the primary contact for internal and external compliance matters including audits and tax filings

1. Minimum HBO degree in finance
2. Proven experience and knowledge as a Senior Accountant
3. Experience in a retail organization is a plus

5. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365 with advanced Excel skills
6. Excellent Dutch and good English language skills, both spoken and written

Proven experience and knowledge in working as a Senior Accountant, preferably within a retail organization.
