The Swatch Group, a global leader in the watchmaking industry, is renowned for its prestigious Swiss watch brands, including Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain. The Swatch Group Netherlands operates as the sales organization for these brands within the Netherlands, with its headquarters located in Eindhoven. The company supplies independent jewelers and large retail chains, alongside managing a growing number of proprietary retail outlets, such as Swatch Stores and Shop-in-Shop corners.

1. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions.
2. Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies.
3. Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with Dutch GAAP.
4. Handle tax filings, including corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes.
5. Prepare periodic payment batches for executive authorization.
6. Administer the capital expenditure portfolio.
7. Act as the primary contact for compliance matters, including audits and tax filings, with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
2. Proven experience and expertise as a Senior Accountant.
3. Experience in a retail organization is preferred.

1. Accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining a focus on broader financial strategies.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
4. Proactive and self-initiating approach.
5. Proficiency in IT systems, including SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365 with advanced Excel skills.
6. Excellent command of Dutch and good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Demonstrated experience in senior accounting roles, ideally within the retail sector.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
