The Swatch Group, a prestigious global conglomerate renowned for its Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain, operates its Dutch sales organization from its headquarters in Eindhoven. This entity supplies independent jewelers and major retail chains, while also managing a growing number of proprietary retail outlets, including Swatch Stores, Shop-in-Shop corners in De Bijenkorf, the Tourbillon Boutique in Amsterdam, and an Hour Passion in the Designer Outlet in Roermond.

1. Process financial transactions in the general ledger.
2. Manage and maintain the general ledger.
3. Reconcile ledger balances and resolve discrepancies.
4. Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (Dutch GAAP).
5. Handle tax filings, including corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes.
6. Prepare periodic payment batches for authorization by the management.
7. Administer and manage the capex portfolio.
8. Serve as the primary contact for internal and external compliance matters, including audits and tax filings.

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
2. Proven experience and expertise in a Senior Accountant role.
3. Experience within a retail organization is preferred.

5. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English, both spoken and written.

Demonstrable experience in a Senior Accountant position, preferably within the retail sector.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
