The Swatch Group, a prestigious global conglomerate renowned for its Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain, operates its Dutch sales organization from Eindhoven. The Swatch Group Netherlands caters to independent jewelers and large retail chains, while also managing an expanding network of proprietary retail outlets, including Swatch Stores, a Tissot boutique in Amsterdam, and an Hour Passion store in Roermond's Designer Outlet.

1. Manage the financial administration and controlling for Swatch Group Netherlands' retail operations from the Eindhoven headquarters.
2. Oversee all transactions and processes related to company-owned stores, ensuring full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the retail business.
3. Conduct daily bank reconciliations and sales reconciliations between the POS system and ERP system (SAP).
4. Perform periodic analysis of gross margins and expenses.
5. Report and discuss retail results with the management team both locally and internationally.
6. Contribute to the development of business cases for new store openings.
7. Validate pricing strategies.
8. Lead inventory controlling within the finance team.
9. Participate as a member of the operational project team for new store openings.
10. Conduct on-site store audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and perform periodic inventory counts.

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
2. Proven experience and knowledge in a financial controlling role.
3. Experience within a retail organization is preferred.
4. Accuracy and attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
7. Proactive and initiative-driven.

1. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
2. Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English, both written and spoken.

Demonstrated experience in financial controlling, preferably within the retail sector.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
