Retail Controller

The Swatch Group Netherlands is part of the global Swatch Group, responsible for the sales of renowned Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain within the Netherlands. Operating from its headquarters in Eindhoven, the company supplies independent jewelers and large retail chains, and manages its own growing number of retail outlets.

1. Manage financial administration and controlling for Swatch Group Netherlands from the Eindhoven headquarters.
2. Oversee all transactions and processes related to company-owned stores.
3. Maintain full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the retail business.
4. Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
5. Perform daily sales reconciliations between POS and ERP systems (SAP).
6. Analyze gross margin and costs periodically.
7. Report and discuss retail results with the management team locally and internationally.
8. Contribute to business case development for new store openings.
9. Validate pricing.
10. Handle inventory controlling within the finance team.
11. Participate in the operational project team for new store openings.
12. Conduct store audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and perform periodic stock counts.

1. Minimum HBO education in finance.
2. Proven experience in a financial controlling role.
3. Experience in a retail organization is a plus.

2. Strong communication skills.
3. Team mentality with the ability to work independently.
4. Proactive and initiative-driven.
5. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English, both spoken and written.

Demonstrable experience in financial controlling, preferably within a retail organization.
