- Identify, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge technologies advantageous to The Swatch Group.
- Define and manage R&D projects both internally and with external partners to meet established objectives.
- Develop robust and fully automated laser micromachining processes on multi-axis CNC machines.
- Create prototypes and small production series.
- Characterize and test laser-processed components and meticulously document solutions.
- Maintain and enhance complex laser equipment.
- Master's degree in engineering, preferably in physics, microtechnology, material science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in laser processing and laser systems.
- Proficiency in material and process characterization techniques.
- Analytical thinking with strong oral and written synthesis capabilities.
- Motivation to actively contribute to a multidisciplinary and international team focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM is highly advantageous.
- Programming experience, such as Python, is a significant asset.
Demonstrated experience in laser processing and system management, with a strong background in material and process characterization.
Master's degree in engineering, physics, microtechnology, material science, or a related discipline.
