- Oversee desktop support operations, focusing on defining, implementing, and documenting standards in alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Provide professional help desk support, managing IT queries, and adhering to internal service level agreements.
- Maintain Active Directory, managing employee setup, maintenance, and deletion.
- Develop and update training materials to enhance end-user IT skills.
- Monitor IT systems proactively to prevent faults and failures, including data backup management.
- Manage inventory of IT equipment and take ownership of projects as required.
- Possession of an IT degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in help desk support, with retail support and POS systems knowledge as a bonus.
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2016 and 2019, Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and related technologies.
- Understanding of IT security guidelines, such as ISO standards.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and related technologies.
- Experience with iOS and macOS, MDM solutions like MobileIron, and SAP exposure.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail and a professional telephone manner.
Previous experience in IT help desk support is required, with additional experience in retail support and POS systems considered advantageous.
IT degree or equivalent qualifications preferred.
