Swatch Group Import/Export Manager

Swatch Group is the world's leading manufacturer of finished watches, encompassing 16 watch brands across all price segments. 1. Establish, oversee, and improve import and export process flows in compliance with applicable rules and company policy.
2. Develop internal SOPs and maintain KPIs for efficient management of inbound freight.
3. Collaborate with the sales department to develop customer-specific import handling procedures.
4. Ensure accurate documentation and data transmission to governmental agencies for all import activities.
5. Maintain compliance with CBP and other government agency regulations.
6. Organize, update, and disseminate data including rate agreements and HTS classification.
7. Arrange transportation, warehousing, or distribution of imported products.
8. Negotiate contracts/rates with delivery agents.
9. Conduct monthly reporting to management.
10. Train staff and onboard new employees.
11. Perform entry audits and support A/R collections as needed.
12. Manage customs brokerage activities and function as the broker of record.
13. Conduct audits and assess import compliance on every file where CBP services are provided.
14. Supervise the Import Team, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

1. Strong compliance focus and understanding of country-specific import/export regulations.
2. Experience dealing with US Customs, US Fish and Wildlife, FDA.
3. Foreign Trade Zone experience is desired.
4. Drawback and Reconciliation experience is required.
5. Experience with large database systems ERPs and/or WMS systems.
6. BS degree is required; College Degree is preferred.
7. Minimum of five years of experience in handling imports and exports.
8. Three or more years of supervisory/management experience in an import/export environment.
9. Licensed US customs broker is a must.

A minimum of five years of experience in handling imports and exports, including three or more years of supervisory/management experience.

BS degree is required; College Degree is preferred.
