- Oversee the entire construction process from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Manage construction lifecycle activities, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and project closeout documentation.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate processes and standards throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project updates, changes, and inquiries.
- Ensure integration of project processes to achieve brand objectives and maintain brand identity.
- Verify accuracy and compliance of construction documents with brand and industry standards.
- Oversee quality management processes to ensure brand satisfaction and project success.
- Prepare and manage schedules for architects, vendors, and contractors to meet project deadlines.
- Secure delivery of materials and services, and manage procurement processes.
- Issue RFPs, compare bids, and negotiate proposals with contractors and vendors.
- Maintain quality standards during design, implementation, and construction phases.
- Proactively address and resolve anticipated project obstacles.
- Assume full responsibility for project quality and efficiency.
- Travel to project sites as required, and work off-hours when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree or Vocational Degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction, with a preference for luxury retail or mixed-use projects.
- Proven experience with high-end furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE).
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction process documents, including submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and delivering project materials.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project and Excel.
- Strong understanding of building department procedures in major US cities.
- Expertise in negotiating vendor and contractor agreements and change orders.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a service-oriented mindset towards internal clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
A minimum of 7 years in commercial construction, preferably within luxury retail or mixed-use projects, with expertise in on-site supervision and schedule management.
Bachelor’s degree or Vocational Degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.
