1. Conduct comprehensive audits of capital expenditures on construction projects to ensure compliance with company policies and budget alignment.
2. Guide Project Managers in aligning actual costs with budgets and facilitate the corporate capital expenditure request process.
3. Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and job-costing processes.
4. Resolve financial discrepancies through detailed account analysis.
5. Safeguard financial information by executing database backups and maintaining internal controls.
6. Perform due diligence on bids and contracts, ensuring thorough evaluation.
7. Maintain a historical cost database for all construction projects.
8. Ensure brand databases, files, and budgeted items are accurately maintained and updated.
9. Develop and update a masterplan of all projects with detailed weekly tracking.
10. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely permit applications and address any delays.
11. Communicate project timeline adjustments and specifications with the Director of Retail Development.
12. Analyze statistical data and variances related to projects.
13. Ensure adherence to departmental processes and provide timely reporting packages and monthly analyses.
14. Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
3. Familiarity with construction project management.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
5. Experience with SAP financial systems.
6. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.

5. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction project management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
