Swatch Group Construction Project Controller

1. Review and oversee a full audit of all capital expenditures on construction projects.
2. Monitor budgeted amounts to comply with HQ policies and budgets.
3. Ensure project managers' actual costs align with budgets and guide them through corporate capital expenditure request steps.
4. Oversee work-in-progress reporting and job-costing processes.
5. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
6. Secure financial information by completing database backups.
7. Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
8. Complete due diligence on all bids and contracts.
9. Create and maintain a database of historical cost information for all construction projects.
10. Ensure brand databases, files, and budgeted items are properly notated and up to date.
11. Create and maintain a master plan of all projects with weekly updates.
12. Work with the team to ensure timely application for all necessary permits.
13. Identify patterns of delay and communicate with the Director of Retail Development.
14. Review project timelines, product specifications, and production schedules.
15. Calculate statistical information and variances related to the project.
16. Ensure daily processes for all projects are maintained.
17. Provide timely and accurate reporting packages and monthly analyses related to the monthly close.
18. Perform all other duties assigned by management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
3. Familiarity with construction project management.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
5. Proficiency with the financial system SAP.
6. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with familiarity in construction project management.
