Swatch Group Construction Business Controller

1. Audit and control all construction projects to ensure compliance with processes and alignment with capital expenditure budgets.
2. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure actual costs align with budgets and guide them through corporate capital expenditure request steps.
3. Oversee Work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and job-costing processes.
4. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
5. Secure financial information by completing database backups.
6. Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
7. Conduct due diligence on all bids and contracts.
8. Create and maintain a database of historical cost information for all construction projects.
9. Ensure brand databases, files, and budgeted items are properly notated and up to date.
10. Create and maintain a master plan of all projects with weekly updates.
11. Ensure timely application for permits and address delays with the Director of Retail Development.
12. Review project timelines, product specifications, and production schedules to meet established timelines.
13. Calculate statistical information and variances related to projects.
14. Ensure adherence to department processes and provide timely reporting packages and monthly analyses.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting.
3. Familiarity with Construction Project Management.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
5. Proficiency with the financial system SAP.
6. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting with familiarity in Construction Project Management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
