1. Conduct comprehensive audits of capital expenditures on construction projects to ensure compliance with corporate policies and budget alignment.
2. Monitor and analyze project costs, guiding Project Managers through capital expenditure requests and variance explanations.
3. Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and job-costing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
4. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
5. Secure financial data through regular database backups and adherence to internal controls.
6. Perform due diligence on all bids and contracts, maintaining a historical cost database for construction projects.
7. Ensure brand databases and budget items are accurately updated and notated.
8. Create and maintain a detailed masterplan of all projects, providing weekly updates.
9. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely permit applications and address any delays.
10. Review project timelines, specifications, and schedules to meet established deadlines.
11. Calculate statistical information and variances related to projects, ensuring adherence to departmental processes.
12. Provide timely and accurate reporting packages and monthly analyses for the monthly close.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
3. Familiarity with construction project management.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
5. Experience with SAP financial systems.
6. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles.

1. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions).
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
5. Effective time management and organizational skills.
6. Ability to interpret and analyze construction data, budgets, and financial reports.
7. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing responsibilities or conditions.

A minimum of 3-5 years in accounting, with familiarity in construction project management and financial systems such as SAP.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
