Swatch Group Brand Controller

- Review, pre-validate, and set up Internal Orders in SAP, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and budgetary constraints.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting packages and monthly analyses for the monthly close process.
- Act as a finance partner to various brand scenarios, supporting wholesale and retail divisions in administrative and financial processes.
- Assist in the monthly close process by providing accurate accruals and key marketing figures.
- Review and validate COOP agreements for relevant brands.
- Coordinate and document evaluations for new retail locations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Support and pre-evaluate business plans to provide analytical information for management decision-making.
- Participate in the maintenance and development of the corporate lease database.
- Conduct cost, ratio, and trend analyses to identify irregularities and trends.
- Perform monthly margin and P&L analysis independently.
- Carry out ad hoc analyses as directed by the Controlling Director.
- Ensure correct maintenance of watch consignment with brands.
- Coordinate technical solutions and communication for off-site special sales events.
- Recommend corrective measures to management based on analysis.
- Participate in cross-division projects to provide process and control-related advice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a corporate accounting role.
- Proficiency with SAP financial systems.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and thoroughness skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A minimum of 3-5 years in a mid-sized or large corporate accounting role is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
